John, Andy Parker's ready to fight for all of us. Will you join him to create an unstoppable movement to fight gun violence? As we have told you before, Andy Parker is an inspiration who has turned a tragedy into a life of activism to make us all safer. You may remember the tragedy that befell his daughter, Alison Parker, in 2015. A TV reporter in Roanoke, VA, Alison was conducting a live interview when a crazed killer shot and murdered. Another senseless and preventable slaughter in America, but because of its sensational nature, it went viral. Today Andy was invited along with others in the gun-violence-prevention movement to the White House to sign the first gun-safety legislation in nearly 30 years. It is far from perfect, but it closes the "dating" loophole, preventing violent stalkers from getting guns and finally gives us a law to fight gun trafficking nationally. Can you please give $2, $5, $10 or whatever you can to Andy's Fight, SO HE CAN FIGHT FOR ALL OF US. But he knows, like we do, that it isn't enough. So he is kicking off Andy's Fight, a SuperPAC that will be different from other gun-violence prevention groups in some VERY IMPORTANT WAYS: |
