Last week, an unelected commission in New York state officially announced new ballot qualification rules designed to weaken progressives and eliminate minor parties in the state. And the worst part is this attack is specifically designed to crush the Working Families Party and the work we do. Here’s how:

The commission's work was led by Jay Jacobs — Governor Andrew Cuomo’s hand-picked state Democratic Party chair and right-hand man,¹
According to Politico, Andrew Cuomo has been telling close friends and associates for months that he wants to destroy the WFP,²
Cuomo also has a long history of tampering with "independent" commissions like these,³
It even turns out that former Cuomo aides helped write the report.⁴

It’s abundantly clear: Cuomo and the party leadership he controls is trying to punish us for the progressive victories we’ve achieved these last two decades.
