Remember these folks from the recall?

It will not surprise you to learn that the fringe-right got their preferred candidate for Governor in California: Brian Dahle.

This is a guy who has a history of standing with anti-vaxxers even before pandemic — a real pioneer of their movement.

But that’s not all. I am sure you will not be shocked to learn:

This is a guy who called California “Trump Country.”

This is a guy who voted against an assault weapons ban, gets an A grade from the NRA and opposes commonsense red flag laws.

This is a guy who says he is “100% pro-life” without exceptions of ANY kind.

So yeah... the far-right got their guy.

But here is the thing. His extreme stances motivates a subset of voters in California. We’ve all seen it.

That will not only drive up Republican turnout in our race, but in the vote for the constitutional amendment codifying the right to an abortion in the state constitution, and in close down ballot races across California.

Our job is to turn out EVERY LAST DEMOCRATIC VOTER to keep California Blue in 2022. There’s too much at stake to do anything else.
