"It's Impeachment Or Bust Now!" -Rush Limbaugh
[link removed] The main event has started. Nancy Pelosi's House of Representatives WILL impeach the President of the United States, and yet, Republicans in the Senate are still REFUSING to DISMISS ARTICLES OF IMPEACHMENT!
Limbaugh goes on to say: "They know that Trump is not gonna get convicted in the Senate... And yet they're doing it anyway. So why? Because this is not really about impeachment. It is about impeachment as a black mark, as a discrediting item on a resume that hopefully will dissuade people from voting for Trump in 2020. It is essentially a central asset of the Democrats' 2020 campaign. They hate Donald Trumpâs guts."
Rush is right! It's all about the election now folks... it's all about Democrats throwing out bogus barbs to chip away at the Presidency and even trying to sway a handful of Senators like Mitt Romney or Susan Collins or Lisa Murkowski or Cory Gardner... the list goes on... to support REMOVING THE PRESIDENT FROM OFFICE and thereby damage the President and REAL CONSERVATIVES going into the 2020 election.
And here's the bottom line: Every day this impeachment farce continues does permanent damage and if even a handful of Republican Senators vote to remove the President from office, the GOP is mortally damaged going into the 2020 election. That's the Democrats' game now and they're playing to win while Senate Republicans sit on their hands!
We know we're sounding like a broken record here folks but this foolishness must stop now.
It's time to demand that these Senate Republicans go on record to support the President and commit to dismissing these idiotic Articles of Impeach the second they go to the United States Senate and you're the only ones who can force them to do it. [link removed]

It's Not About Saving The President. It's About Saving Their Own Skins?
According to the liberal Washington Post: "[Senate] Republicans are frantically seeking a new strategy and talking points."
Truth be told, their focus is not so much on 'saving Trump' but rather, on saving their own skins.
According to The American Spectator: "The more difficult feat for the veteran politico [McConnell] is... limiting the political damage to their vulnerable incumbents. The truth is that none of us knows what the Senate GOP's strategy is yet. It's likely McConnell and his deputies don't know either."
They have no strategy because they can't reconcile their own selfish and petty desires to the country's desires.
That's why you hear them raising feckless complaints about process but doing little else to stand by the President, and we're not the only ones sounding the alarm:
According to Talking Points Memo (TPM): "Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani and conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh have both made similar arguments in recent weeks, pressing the majority leader to ignore rules they deemed arbitrary and outright kill the inquiry on arrival. Giuliani said it would be 'horrible' if the Senate decided to host a trial."
Rush Limbaugh said: "The Turtle said, 'Hey, if we do it, there's gotta be a trial.' There's nobody in official Republican strata that's trying to refute this. They're all dealing with it as though it's a fait accompli. It's not a fait accompli. But, see, there's a whole different mentality about this stuff when you live in the Beltway."
Fox News' Laura Ingraham didn't mince words: "(Give) Democrats maybe an afternoon to put on their sham case. Republicans in the Senate need to step up or get out."
But Republican Senators are refusing to listen because they're not hearing from enough Patriotic Americans. You can remedy that right now. [link removed]

"Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas), an adviser to Senate Republican leadership, says there are not enough votes in the Senate to immediately dismiss any articles of impeachment passed by the House against President Trump... Cornyn also said it would be better to have a trial in the Senate if the House impeaches Trump."
"[Senator Mike] Braun said passing a motion to immediately dismiss articles of impeachment 'would be probably the wrong thing to do.'"
"Sen. John Kennedy (R-Louisiana), a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said ... 'I'm not going to support cutting off a trial...'"
They're not alone. In recent days, similar sentiments have been expressed by Senators Mitt Romney, Lamar Alexander, Roy Blunt, Richard Burr, Susan Collins, Mike Crapo, Mike Enzi, Johnny Isakson, Lisa Murkowski, Rob Portman, Dan Sullivan, Marco Rubio, John Thune, Patrick Toomey and Ben Sasse.
Washington D.C. is a place where people smile in your face as they position the knife to stab you in the back. Some of these folks love sharing the microphone with the President, some are even shamelessly fundraising off of impeachment... it's sick... but in the end, when you pin them down, it's clear they are not onboard.
You are the President's last line of defense. These Senators need to be told that if they don't stand with the President, then you won't stand with them, and if we can generate 100,000 phone calls and Blast Faxes to the United States Senate in the next 48 hours, they will do as they are told. Yes, It Really Is About The 2020 Election!
Our elected officials are slippery fish and they're always two steps ahead of the game.
If they can get away with stabbing the President in the back but convince you that they're supporting him, and thereby save their own skins, they'll do it in a heartbeat.
"Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on Tuesday dismissed the likelihood that his Republican-led chamber would cast enough votes to remove President Donald Trump, the head of the Republican party, from office should the impeachment case be put before them. 'It's inconceivable to me there would be 67 votes to remove the president from office."
Nothing to see here folks... nothing to worry about... just go home... all is well.
If that's the case, such a sentiment begs the question; Why bother having a dog-and-pony trial on Articles of Impeachment in the Senate anyway? Why not declare them DEAD ON ARRIVAL and DISMISS them outright? And why not say it now? [link removed] [link removed]
It bears repeating. In the end, the majority members of the United States Senate only have one common goal, and that goal is to keep their majority. The party affiliation of the person who sits in the Oval Office is secondary, and many of them would prefer a Democrat who knows how to play ball rather than the swamp-drainer who presently sits behind the Resolute Desk.
If the President is removed from office, they'll be happy... If the President is simply weakened to the point that they can thwart the agenda to Keep American Great and drain the D.C. swamp, they'll be happy... And if the President is damaged and loses the election, but they maintain their majority in the Senate, they'll still be very happy.
It's an open secret in Washington DC. Far too many Republican Senators (in spite of what they say in public) hate the President, but lack the guts to openly oppose him.
Some of them are seeking revenge... settling the score... putting him in his place... so to speak. As long as the Democrats put their fingerprints all over it and they pretend to support the President, all is good. They stay in office, they pull the wool over your eyes, and the man they secretly hate walks off into the sunset.
They think you're buying it... WE'RE NOT!
But the problem with such petty motives and squabbling is that the country suffers in the process.
You are the President's last line of defense. You are America's last line of defense. Don't let these politicians get away with their petty games. Demand they support the President! [link removed]
