Economic inequality is a systemic problem that we have not yet begun to tackle in our country. It is a root cause for some of the instability in democratic institutions we’ve seen over the last decade.

But there is reason for hope that things can change, and turn around. The growing strength of unionization, solidarity for better pay and working conditions, and a movement of young Americans refusing to settle for what Wall Street and corporate power brokers offer—all of these forces are coming together to preserve the things that make our middle class strong: affordable homes, dignified work, and rising wages that can allow workers to put money in the bank.

Labor unions are on the rise in popularity and rapidly expanding in industries, and young people are more engaged and energized than ever. Trish is proud to support both of these groups, and to have their support for this important race:
