Early in my career, there was a chance
I almost ended up in California.
Thank God that wasn’t my fate.
You see, I graduated from the University of San Diego Law School back in the early 90s, in the middle of a nasty recession…
And those cushy high-paying corporate law jobs were hard to find.
So I ended up interning at the California District Attorney General’s office instead…
And while it didn’t pay like the big firms…
I’m glad it happened that way.
Because turns out, I was DAMN good at practicing the law…
And one day, I got a call from an Arizona judge to work as an assistant U.S. attorney…
And I never looked back.
Here’s the funny thing though:
If it wasn’t for that experience in the California DA office, I might not be in Arizona today…
And if things had worked out that way…
I wonder:
Would I be in California now, paying the highest taxes in the nation—in exchange for high gas prices, extreme Covid mandates (they still have that), out-of-control homelessness, and skyrocketing crime rates?
Well, let’s just say I’m glad that I live in Arizona.
We live in a free state, with more and more opportunities pouring in for every Arizonan.
But I fear that it won’t always be that way.
Because if California Democrats get what they want, they’ll turn Arizona into California as soon as they can.
NO THANK YOU.
Let’s keep Arizona the most liberty-loving state in the union.

And frankly that’s me.
I’ve got the proven freedom-first track record that my opponents don’t have…
I’ve won tight races before, while my opponents haven’t…
And while I legitimately hate asking for money…
The stakes are just too high here.
We cannot let Arizona become California…
