Did you see the headlines last week?
At a time when our city, our state, and our country are suffering from one senseless act of gun violence after another, our mayor failed at his primary responsibility — he failed to lead in a time of crisis.
We’re all exhausted. We’re all devastated, and sick of being devastated. We all need more than just a break:
We need real change that leads to a permanent reprieve from what has become a national gun violence epidemic. That change can and must start at home: Our City of Philadelphia.
