Because of Ohio Republicans, a 10-year-old rape victim was just forced to travel from Ohio to Indiana to receive an abortion. I know denying women care isn’t who we are as a state. But unless we mobilize, these incidents will continue to happen.

John,

Let me give you a brief timeline:

July 03, 2019: A federal judge put a stay on the state of Ohio’s newly passed restrictive abortion law from taking effect on the basis that the law violated precedents set in the Roe v. Wade and Casey v. Planned Parenthood Supreme Court Decisions.

June 29, 2022: After the Supreme Court overturned Roe and Casey in a partisan decision, the barbaric Ohio abortion law was allowed to go into effect.

WHY IT’S IMPORTANT: The legislation outlaws abortion as early as six weeks into pregnancy, before many women are aware that they are pregnant. It also forces the victims of rape and incest into further trauma.

Because of Ohio Republicans, 10-year-old rape victim was just forced to travel from Ohio to Indiana to receive an abortion.

I know denying women care isn’t who we are as a state. But unless we mobilize, these incidents will continue to happen.

Support our campaign now to stand up against Republican cruelty

In November, we have the opportunity to put an end to state-sanctioned attacks on women’s healthcare.

We have no choice but to elect pro-choice leaders at the State and Federal level in November and put abortion protections into law.

In Congress, I will prioritize codifying federal abortion protections. My opponent, Max Miller, supports outlawing abortion completely, even in cases of sexual assault of minors.

Can you rush $20 to help us beat Max this fall?

Sincerely,

Matthew Diemer
