Team, I am proud and honored to let you know about the latest organization to endorse our campaign: Maryland National Organization of Women (MD NOW)!

NOW is one of the largest organizations of feminist grassroots activists in the country, and their Maryland chapter is one of the most active! They work to advance women’s rights in our state, and I am so proud to have their support at a time when the fight for women’s equality has never been more urgent. 

With just 8 days left until our Primary and early voting underway, John and I could really use your help getting the word out about this endorsement. If you are in a position to give today, can you please rush in a donation of any size — $300, $30, or even $3 — to help us spread the word about this endorsement to undecided voters?

I’ve dedicated my life to achieving equal rights for women here in Maryland and across the country, through my law career, as Board President at Planned Parenthood Maryland, and in my current role as the Executive Director of the Women’s Law Center of Maryland. I’m beyond grateful for Maryland NOW’s endorsement, which combined with Pro-Choice MD Action’s endorsement shows that out of all our opponents in the field, our campaign is the most committed to protecting and expanding reproductive rights. Now we really need your support to get the word out. 

With the recent SCOTUS decision to overturn Roe, Marylanders are counting on leaders who truly understand what’s at stake and what it really means to support and expand reproductive freedom. Without the fundamental dignity of bodily autonomy, we can never achieve gender equality. 

John and I are thrilled to have the support of Maryland NOW, and we look forward to continuing the fight for women’s rights over the next 8 days of this primary and once elected to office.
