Friend,

I know it’s Sunday, so I’ll make this quick.

Campaign veterans always warn about the so-called “summer slump” — a lull in fundraising during the summer months, when folks are spending more time outside, and not focused on politics or reading emails like this one.

That’s a problem for us, because we rely on grassroots supporters, not shady special interests or mega donors, to power our work. So a fundraising slowdown right now, in the last few months leading up to the crucial midterm election, could mean we have to scale back our efforts to protect and expand our Senate majority.

Here’s the part where I ask: Can you chip in any amount now to combat the summer slump before it happens and help us meet our mid-month fundraising goal coming up this week?

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Thanks, and I’ll let you get back to enjoying your Sunday.
