This week's Guiding Light Awards was a huge success, because of you. Whether you were able to join us or not, you contributed to our amazing night. Combined with generous support from our partners, ticket sales, and other gifts, we were able to raise significant funds that will allow us to champion popular democracy in the crucial year ahead. Watch the livestream from the event here!
Guided by our Master of Ceremonies, Oona Chatterjee, we celebrated the radical and brave leadership of change agents: Nan Goldin, La June Montgomery Tabron, Candis Tolliver, Teresa C. Younger and The Campaign for New York Health, and our incredible New York affiliates Churches United for Fair Housing (CUFFH), VOCAL NY, New York Communities for Change and Make the Road New York. We ate, we drank, we danced with DJ Reborn and DJ JLMR in between the moving speeches, and we listened to the Resistance Revival Chorus who brought us inspiration and reinvigorated the soundcheck on our movement.

If you have not made a gift, please do. It's not too late! Your contribution catalyzes and enables our network of 53 affiliates and partners to not just fight but to win.
Regardless of what you’re able to give, we are most appreciative and grateful. Without you and our other supporters, we wouldn’t have the capacity to protect our democracy, effectively organize, win campaigns, and build people power in New York City and beyond!
Together, we can create a world where we all have what we need to thrive and achieve at home, at work, and in our communities.
In gratitude and solidarity,
