This October, the Supreme Court will hear Moore v. Harper, a case that threatens the foundation of our democracy.

At the center of this case is "independent state legislature theory," or the idea that state legislatures can interfere and question the integrity of federal elections. Sound familiar? It's essentially the Big Lie, in different wording.

We need to protect voting rights, not pave the way for divisive partisan interference. Sign your name next to mine if you agree.

As we watch the January 6th Committee hearings about the violent insurrection at the Capitol -- a literal attack on our elections -- it's clear: This is a coordinated, blatant conservative power grab.

Donald Trump failed in his attempt to stay in power after the 2020 election because state officials followed the law and stayed true to the will of the voters. The Supreme Court's ruling in Moore v. Harper could set the scene for a different outcome in the future -- one that could allow state legislatures to overturn election results and shatter the integrity of our elections.
