Last month, the Governor announced three significant actions Florida is taking to address the border crisis.
1.
Establishing a strike force of state and local law enforcement to interdict drug smuggling and human trafficking and to seize illegal weapons being transported through the state.
2.
Petitioning the Florida Supreme Court for a statewide grand jury to examine international human smuggling networks which bring illegal aliens to the southern border, how it impacts Florida, and how the organizations have violated Florida law.
3.
Prohibiting government agencies from contracting with any common carrier facilitating the resettlement of illegal aliens into Florida.
