Every Arkansan deserves access to the opportunity to live their dreams, folks — but that is not our current reality.

In Arkansas, our state is ranked 41st in the nation for education. When Chris talks to teachers all over the state, he hears the same thing over and over again: they are understaffed, under-resourced, and underpaid. And when it comes to our colleges, we have some of the lowest graduation rates.

But it doesn’t have to be this way. A strong educational pathway begins with access to quality preschool, and Chris has a plan to deliver this for every Arkansan. Our plan would increase education opportunities from preschool to college, to technical and trade schools. But this all rests on whether or not we raise the resources we need to win.

The outcome of this election will be the difference between progress and more of the same. Will you chip in $20 or anything you can afford to power our movement to improve education across our state and improve the lives of every Arkansan? [[link removed]]

Our Promise to Arkansas means all children would have the solid foundation they need to start school. It means putting intervention measures in place to keep kids on track to achieving grade-level reading, and providing low-to-no cost degrees to create a competitive, highly skilled Arkansas workforce.

But most of all, it means paying competitive salaries to support and attract highly qualified teachers — which is something that both parents and kids are asking for. And we have a real chance to make all of these policies a reality. But first, we’ve got to win.
