Midterm election season is in full swing in North Carolina, and across the state, we’re seeing far-right Republicans lining up to try to defeat Democrats and roll back the progress we’ve made. 

Donald Trump may not be in the White House anymore, but all signs point to his dominance of the Republican Party and influence in this election. In fact, Trump is scheduled to make another appearance in North Carolina this week in Greensboro. 

The party in the White House almost always faces an uphill battle during midterm elections, and there’s a long line of extreme GOP opponents running up and down the ballot.
