It’s a special day today.
Today, we honor and celebrate our fearless Founder of Special Olympics, Eunice Kennedy Shriver.
On what would have been Eunice’s 101st birthday, we look back on the amazing things she accomplished. She would be so proud of the work we have done together. Marching forward not for people with intellectual disabilities (ID) but with them, hand in hand. Because of her fearlessness, bravery, strength, and vision — she made the world a more inclusive, inspiring, and loving place for us all.
When we give people with ID the chance to fulfill their dreams, everyone wins. Help us continue her legacy by signing our Inclusion Pledge, so we can help spread our movement onwards, for years to come.
