Friend,
When I was in high school, I was in a near-fatal car accident that absolutely changed my life. Until then, much of my life had been about achieving my goals on the football field, being the class clown, and lifting my family out of poverty.
But when I encountered the love of Jesus Christ, my heart changed, and so did my ambitions. My life was no longer my own to live as I pleased; it was now dedicated to serving others with Christ as my example.
Of course, many of the lessons I learned about leadership came from my mentors, but the Word of God has also been “a lamp for my feet, and a light on my path.”
