We need local officials who will protect our rights.

Team, earlier this week, a ballot initiative to protect abortion rights in Arizona failed to get enough signatures. But that does not mean the fight to protect these rights is over.
It does mean that now more than ever,
we have to elect pro-choice candidates up and down the ballot this November. With Maricopa County being the most populous in Arizona, it makes the Maricopa County Attorney’s election key to our fight for protecting reproductive rights in Arizona.
Julie Gunnigle has promised to use prosecutorial discretion, and as your next Maricopa County Attorney, she will not prosecute individuals procuring an abortion or doctors providing an abortion. Her opponents have vowed to enforce the law no matter the cruelty or cost to our state.
Team, protecting reproductive rights is a multi-level approach in our state. We must elect people at all levels of government, including the county attorney’s office, in order to make sure medical professionals and their patients are not prosecuted for seeking care. Can you split a donation of $10 between the Arizona Democratic Party and Julie Gunnigle’s campaign to make sure we have that protection at all levels?

It's simple: if we don't win this race, Arizonans in Maricopa County will be prosecuted and imprisoned for their personal health care decisions. As the next Maricopa County Attorney, Julie will never use her political power and taxpayer dollars to criminalize pregnant people, their families, or health care providers for seeking or providing abortion care.
Protecting this right in our most populous county will help protect Arizonans in all 15 counties. It’s so important that we have pro-choice proponents at all levels here in Arizona while Republican extremists try to send us back centuries.
