Hi Friend,

Less than a week from today, I’ll be taking the stage at our 2022 Texas Democratic Convention with our entire statewide slate. I’m honored to be running alongside Beto, Mike, Rochelle, Janet, Susan, and Luke -- and with this group, I feel more confident than ever that we can turn a new leaf in Texas this November.

Texans are being left behind by the irresponsibility of Republican leadership. But Friend, that’s not who we are. We’re trailblazers, changemakers, innovators -- and it’s time we bring that spirit back to Texas. Texas Republicans have utterly failed to address the greatest challenges of our time. The General Land Office has the opportunity to lead the way as we work to leave a safer, cleaner planet for the generations to come. But only if Democrats are calling the shots.

I know our state, our country, and our world are hurting right now. It seems like the bad news keeps coming, and we don’t have a second to come up for air. But with every Texan I meet and every hand I shake, I’m reminded of just how resilient we are. We overcome every challenge we face. And Friend, this time will be no different.

It’s so important that our party -- candidates and elected leaders, activists and voters -- come together now. With only 4 months until Election Day, our Convention couldn’t come at a better time. This is the biggest event for Texas Democrats since 2018, and we’re going to need every dollar to make it happen.

Can I count on you to rush $7 to our Texas Democratic Convention Fund to give our statewide slate the launching pad they need to cross the finish line come Election Day?

Our fight to November 8th starts next weekend in Dallas, and we’re going to need every Texas Democrat with us on this. We’re counting on you.
