Susan Collins is usually a staple at Fourth of July events in Maine, but last week, she was nowhere to be found. Is she worried that Mainers are going to hold her accountable for her role in dismantling the right to abortion nationwide?

Susan Collins is an embarrassment for Maine. Trump administration officials specifically targeted her during the Kavanaugh hearings because they knew she would only need a “vague reassurance” he would uphold Roe.
