Greitens is already the clear GOP frontrunner, even despite having to resign in disgrace as Missouri governor in 2018. Major Republican insiders have spent the last year publicly worrying that Greitens could lose to Lucas Kunce — and polling shows they’re right.

But despite all that, Greitens is STILL the favorite of corporate mega-donors. They’ve already spent millions to guarantee him the Republican nomination and Trump’s endorsement could lock it all in for him.
