John, these past few months on the campaign trail have been jam-packed – and I've loved every minute of it.

I have been traveling all over the Show Me State, going to round tables, parades, protests. I've met with hundreds of Missourians, hearing their stories and listening to their concerns. 

I've had a wonderful time, but make no mistake: Meeting voters is serious business. We've talked about our country's future and the type of leadership we need in Washington. I've learned so much from these conversations, and they'll guide our campaign in the months to come.

But sometimes, after a long day on the road, I am able to convince my team to take a quick pit stop to grab some goodies for my grandkids. During those moments, I remember exactly who I'm in this fight for.

I've spent my entire life trying to secure a better future for our children – as a nurse, as a volunteer, as an advocate, and as a mom. Now I'm running for this seat to bring this work to the Senate. There's so much we must do to ensure that our children, our grandchildren, and future generations have the chance to achieve their own American Dreams. And it means the world that you're in this with me.
