I’m reaching out to you personally to tell you about the new TV ad we just launched.

Shannon and I have always been committed to defending the right to an abortion and ensuring safe, affordable access to health care. In light of the Supreme Court’s disgraceful decision to overturn Roe, that commitment is even more important.

My daughters are poised to have fewer reproductive rights than the generations before them. That makes me furious, and I won’t let that stand.

I had the honor to be among the first to implement and enforce the law to prosecute anti-abortion extremists when I served as a civil rights prosecutor. Leading the Civil Rights Division for President Obama, I made it a priority to protect the right to access — and provide — reproductive health services.

Like I’ve always said, I’m a part of the GSD wing of the Democratic Party – I get stuff done.

And as Maryland’s Governor, I’ll protect abortion and reproductive freedoms. But I need your help to get there.
