Kory here, Mandela's Campaign Manager. I made a really difficult decision yesterday during our team's budget meeting.

It has become clear that in order to keep growing our coalition of supporters and spreading our message all across the country, we urgently need to scale up our investments in advertising and digital organizing.

The money wasn’t originally in our Q3 budget. But I gave the green light anyway.

It was a risk, for sure. But right now our campaign must be doing everything we can during these final weeks before the primary to make sure people know why Mandela is the best candidate to defeat Ron Johnson.

So I was willing to bet that if I asked, you would help fill the gap in our budget. And I’m really hoping you will. For Mandela. And for everyone who is ready to flip this Senate seat.

As I mentioned, this was a pretty tough call. I've spent a lot of time balancing our budget priorities and making decisions on where to best allocate our resources. And I typically don't approve additional spending unless I know we can cover the expense.

But if there’s one thing that makes our campaign different from all the others in this race, it’s the tens of thousands of people who have contributed so far to stand with Mandela.
