One of the most important things I do as a U.S. Representative is help people communicate with federal agencies. Recently, North Arkansas Regional Medical Center reached out to my office, and we were able to facilitate over $56,000 in backpay with more expected in the coming months. I am thankful to NARMC for the services they provide to our veterans. I was also proud to help the family of a three-war veteran who served in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam receive his medals posthumously. Out of the 13 medals received, the veteran was awarded the Purple Heart, the Silver Star, the Bronze Star, the World War II Victory Medal, the Korean Service Medal, and the Vietnam Service Medal. If you need assistance with an agency, please call my Jonesboro office (870) 203-0540 or fill out the form here. No votes this week. The House will be in session on Tuesday, July 12, 2022. This week, I met in Cabot with the Arkansas Nurses Association to answer questions about staffing issues, PPE, billing, Medicare and Medicaid issues, workplace safety for hospitals, and mental health.
