The U.S. needs climate change diplomacy with North Korea: Recent flooding has heightened tensions between North and South Korea and threatened to destabilize nuclear production sites. Despite closing its borders since the beginning of the pandemic, North Korea has shown it is willing to discuss climate change cooperation with other countries. This provides a rare opening for the U.S. to build goodwill and reduce tensions with North Korea, writes AFSC’s Dan Jasper (NK News).
