Make no mistake: MAGA Republicans and their illegitimate conservative SCOTUS have their target set on more than abortion.

In the court's majority opinion overturning Roe v. Wade, Justice Clarence Thomas specifically called out other landmark due process decisions he and his MAGA counterparts want to tear down next, including Obergefell v. Hodges and Lawrence v. Texas, which legalized same-sex marriage and same-sex intimacy. They took away your right to bodily autonomy, and now they want to take away your right to marry who you love too. And I won't stand for that.

The implications of SCOTUS' and the GOP’s aggressive efforts to undo vital civil rights stretch far beyond access to abortion and freedom to love who you love. It is a full-scale attack on Americans' privacy and a brazen attempt to force all Americans to adhere to their extremely narrow-minded, right-wing beliefs. Their chokehold on our court system is bad enough, and it would be so much worse if they controlled Congress. A Republican-controlled Congress could very well mean an end to reproductive rights and LGBTQ+ rights nationwide, an end to laws protecting racial equality, further destruction of the right to vote, and so, so much more. We cannot allow any of that. But we have to build momentum to defeat them in November.
