John --
We hope you had a great Fourth of
July weekend! It’s been an exciting week for election integrity and a
bad news week for Democrats as the headlines pile on against their
Senate candidates. As we approach the midway point of the summer,
Wisconsin Republicans are knocking on doors, holding events, and speaking to voters in every corner of
the state.
If you would like to join us in our
efforts to further secure election integrity and mobilize in support
of Republican candidates up and down the ballot, you can sign up to
volunteer on our website here.
As always, thanks for all you do!
- Team WisGOP
Today, the Wisconsin Supreme Court
ruled that the use of ballot drop boxes and
ballot harvesting is illegal. The Republican Party of Wisconsin has
long disputed the abuse of ballot drop boxes as creating a massive
risk of fraud by allowing additional individuals to handle ballots,
and joined the RNC and NRSC in an amicus brief in this case. This is a
massive win for election integrity – but we can’t stop here. We need
to elect a Republican governor who will stand up for voter confidence
and sign the election integrity bills vetoed by Tony Evers. If you want to help
us send Tony Evers packing, you can sign up to volunteer here.
This week, Democrats gathered for
their first official debate hosted through the Dane County Democrats.
As expected, it didn’t take them long to start competing over who
could be the most far-left, as they quickly touted their ideas to pack
the Supreme Court with activist liberal justices, fine businesses over
Biden-fueled inflation, and implement socialist policies like
government-run health care and the Green New Deal. You can read our
statement on the event here.

While Wisconsin Democrats held
their State Convention in La Crosse at the end of June, the WisGOP was
out in full force and holding Democrats accountable. In addition to
our three billboards bringing attention to Democrats’ failures
on inflation and crime, our mobile
billboard drove
around the convention site and our field staff distributed
“gas
cards” to Western
Wisconsin voters who were tired of high gas prices. Read this Twitter
thread for a recap!
Over the Fourth of July weekend,
Wisconsinites joined together to celebrate the independence of our
nation and honor the sacrifices of those who have fought our freedoms.
But in a video uncovered by Dan O’Donnell, AOC-endorsed
Senate candidate Mandela Barnes said that when America was founded,
“things were bad. Things were terrible. The founding of this nation?
Awful!" Democrats like AOC and Mandela Barnes are ashamed to be
Americans, which is why they want to dismantle our institutions by
packing the Supreme Court, defunding the police, and forcing their
woke CRT agenda into our schools. We need to elect a U.S. Senator who
will defend America – not work to cancel it.

In Case You Missed
It…
On Mandela Barnes’ campaign
website, voters can read about Barnes’ disdain for “big money” in
politics and “corporate special interests [that] dump millions into
Super PACs to influence our elections.” On the same campaign website,
Barnes also instructs Super PACs to share his talking points with
“Democratic primary voters, especially those in the Milwaukee, Madison
and the Green Bay media markets.”
At the end of June, Wisconsin
Democrats gathered for their first State Convention in three years.
Despite holding the governor’s office and the White House, Democrat
leadership has been devoid of accomplishment as Wisconsinites continue
to struggle with sky-high prices, a crippled supply chain, and rising
crime.
In a 5-4 decision, the Supreme
Court ruled that President Joe Biden has the authority to repeal the
Trump administration’s “Remain in Mexico” policy, which has been used
to limit the flow of migrants and drugs across the porous southern
border. This would only make the crisis on the border even worse for
our border security, law enforcement, and communities.
