I want to talk about one powerfully important way we can respond to the Supreme Court’s infuriating decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Right now, we’re just a couple of Senate votes short of codifying Roe’s protections into law — so if we expand our majority and hold onto the House, we can secure abortion rights nationwide as soon as January.

But that won’t be possible if we lose control of the Senate. That means we must defend every single Democratic incumbent up for reelection this year — including Maggie Hassan. And right now, she needs our help.

I’m fighting to support champions of reproductive rights like Maggie Hassan, and I’m asking: Can you help reelect Maggie, defend our Senate majority, and fight back for abortion rights by  donating to her reelection campaign today?

This isn’t the only way we fight back, but it really matters to reelect strong fighters like Maggie right now.

Throughout her career in public service, Maggie has been a tireless advocate for reproductive rights, and we need her continued leadership now more than ever. 

With a stronger pro-choice Senate majority, we can protect access to abortion at the federal level. We can channel our anger into action. We can fight back against the right-wing extremists who’ve spent decades plotting to rip away our rights.

But if we lose this seat, it will be much, much harder to keep control of the Senate, and it will pave the way for Mitch McConnell to ban abortion nationwide.
