This is concerning, John.

This morning, news broke that the American Action Network (AAN) – one of the GOP’s dark money super PACs – is dropping another $360,000 on attack ads against Mike. This comes just two weeks after the AAN launched an initial $400,000 ad campaign attacking Mike on TVs across San Diego.

These ads aren’t just misleading, they follow the Trump playbook completely: playing into typical Fox News-style hysteria and fear-mongering to mislead and confuse voters.

Remember, this is in addition to the $1.6 million already promised against us by the Congressional Leadership Fund -- Kevin McCarthy’s flagship super PAC. That brings the 2022 total in outside dark money spending against us to $2.3 million.

This is so far the most outside spending we’ve seen come in against Mike. It’s critical that we respond immediately -- because we’re being outspent:
