In the face of the Supreme Court’s disturbing ruling on Roe v Wade, DFA-endorsed Establish Justice candidates took immediate action to stand up for reproductive rights.

For example, DFA endorsed candidate and current Michigan Attorney General, Dana Nessel, said she will not enforce Michigan's 1931 law which defines abortion as a felony. Yet, if a radical Republican was in office, Michigan women would get arrested for having an abortion.

This shows why our Establish Justice Initiative matters now more than ever: by electing progressive leaders to offices like District Attorney and Attorney General, across all 50 states and D.C., we can fight back against a deeply flawed system from the ground up, protecting millions of people in the process.
