Recently, the Republican-stacked Supreme Court ruled on the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) ability to regulate power plant’s emissions and the results are terrible for our movement to half climate change…

The SCOTUS’s ruling states the EPA can no longer be an authority on greenhouse gas regulation in power plants.

The United States is one of the wealthiest and most powerful countries in the world, yet we are failing to set an example for climate action. In fact, we’re near the bottom of all developed nations for our lack of effort. If we don’t significantly address the climate crisis over the next few years, it’ll be too late to turn back.

Investing in green energy jobs and infrastructure, air quality, and modernizing electricity are all ways we can address climate change on a national scale. The problem is, our government is totally divided – in fact, many Republicans still deny climate change even exists.

As a doctor, I’ve seen the health repercussions of climate change first hand. Heat stroke, lung problems… this isn’t just an environmental crisis, it’s a health crisis.
