Letter from the Mayor
Dear Washingtonians,
This week, we launched a new Career Coach DC program. It has been my experience that no matter what your background is, where you are in your career, how much money you make, how many degrees you have or don't have?you could use a coach. A career coach can help you navigate the programs we have available in DC, they can help you find and change careers, and they can help you overcome barriers and challenges that may be preventing you from reaching your career goals.?
The Career Coach DC program is free and available to DC residents 18 and older who either do not have a four-year degree *or* do have a four-year degree but still qualify based on their current income.?
Our goal is to get 5,000 Washingtonians connected to a career coach this year. If you're interested in getting connected to a coach, we want you to reach out to us. We have in-person, virtual, and hybrid coaching options available, based on your preference. You can connect with the Career Coach DC program by registering online at?careercoach.dc.gov [ [link removed] ], by calling 202-989-1002, or by
[email protected].
If you're looking for your next opportunity or just need some advice on what to do next, I encourage you to get a coach.?
Sincerely,
Muriel Bowser

Registrations are free through August 18, 2022. Registrations issued by September 30, 2022 are valid for two years from date of issuance. Residents can apply in-person, online, or by mail.
