The Democrats are working hard to help regular Americans secure a stable future. Republicans are making veiled attempts to fleece the country by privatizing or eliminating one of the country’s most popular and needed programs.
Privatizing Social Security would essentially be giving Wall Street a license to plunder the retirement funds of hard working Americans through high-fee, high-risk “personal accounts” that have no guarantee.
Social Security lifts millions of older adults above the poverty line, and most older beneficiaries rely on Social Security for the MAJORITY of their income!
