Well John, Sen. Lindsey Graham (MAGA Republican – SC) is fighting the subpoena from the grand jury in Georgia investigating Trump’s attempt to steal the 2020 election.

Let’s recap how we got here:
  • Donald Trump lost Georgia to Joe Biden in 2020 (because of the massive voter turnout in DeKalb County, we’d like to point out).
  • Trump threw a temper tantrum and tried to get state leaders to help him undo the will of the voters.
  • Lindsey Graham called Republican Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, who said that Graham asked him about throwing out all mail-in ballots in certain counties.
  • Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis assembled a grand jury to investigate this wrongdoing, and the grand jury subpoenaed Lindsey Graham, along with other MAGA Republicans who tried to help Trump overturn the election.

Now Lindsey is fighting the subpoena. Apparently he thinks he’s above the law.

Well, John – Ms. Willis said very clearly: This is not a game at all.

We agree. It’s a lawful grand jury investigating people who – by all accounts – have broken the law.

Congress has many Lindsey Grahams, Republicans who continue to defend Trump, even after Trump tried to undermine the peaceful transfer of power – one of the core tenets of our democracy.
