Earlier today, Republicans in the Pennsylvania State Senate voted to pass legislation including a Constitutional Amendment that would ban abortion in the state. Instead of legislating in good faith, Republicans attempted to ram this amendment through late last night when folks were sleeping.
John, this is what we mean when we say our rights are on the ballot in November. While abortion is currently legal in Pennsylvania, the overturning of Roe v. Wade has opened the floodgates for GOP state legislatures like ours in PA to pass legislation banning it — unless we step up.
John, it's going to come down to us to protect reproductive rights in Pennsylvania. Please, will you chip in $5 or more right now to ensure we have the resources to organize and grow our progressive movement across PA-12?

If we're going to protect reproductive rights, we need to elect a Democratic governor, senator, and flip control of the state legislature. And in order to do that, we need to ensure high voter turnout in Western Pennsylvania.
In Summer's first run for the state legislature, we DOUBLED voter turnout. Now, we're going to do it again. If we pull together now, we can elect a pro-choice champion to Congress and continue the vital work it will take on the ground to ensure Pennsylvania remains a state where people have the right, freedom, and access to abortion.
