In 2020, Indiana’s 1st District sent Frank to Washington to fight on behalf of Northwest Indiana, and ever since, he has delivered tangible results.
Thanks to Frank’s key vote on the appropriations bill, tens of millions of dollars in federal funds have been secured this year for environmental and economic development projects that are beginning to flow into Northwest Indiana.
THE FEDERAL FUNDING IMPACT IN INDIANA:
$18.4 million to expand the capacity of facilities that control and prevent contaminated materials from releasing into the Indiana Harbor
$8.2 million for operations and maintenance at Indiana Harbor
$7 million to repair the Lake Michigan breakwater
$2.7 million towards wider beaches to prevent coastal damages from rising sea levels
While our opponent is busy mudslinging, Frank has been working in collaboration with state, local, and nonprofit entities to advocate for these critical investments in the First District. While his work in Congress is far from done, he is running for re-election to build on the progress made so far.
