There is a vacancy?to support the Pension Team in dealing with all aspects of the administration of the Local Government, Teachers and NHS pension scheme to ensure accurate, timely records are maintained in line with Pension Scheme Regulations. You will need to determine the relevant calculation method and calculate pay figures, payments and estimate pension details for all retirements and redundancies. You will maintain accurate and up to date records, and prepare and provide sometimes complex computations, statistical and other data relating to pension and redundancy costs, TUPE transfers and year end work.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:?
  • A basic knowledge of pensions, or more specifically the Local Government, Teachers or NHS pension scheme regulations.
  • To communicate accurately and clearly, orally and in writing with a wide variety of customers and colleagues.
  • Possess a high level of self motivation and ability to make a positive contribution to the effectiveness of the team.
  • Experience of working with computer database system, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
  • Confident numerical ability, with ability to resolve queries and carry out calculations quickly and with a high degree of accuracy.
