Dear John,
I’m overwhelmed by the amount of support that you all showed for our campaign. It's clear that you understand that this office would benefit from a technological overhaul. This office has been operating in the dark ages for too long from its outdated website to using third parties for property searches to disjointed systems for identifying when building permits are issued. With your support, we can modernize the Assessor/County Clerk/Recorder's office to provide better customer service and create uniform processes to ensure that all appraisals are fair and following the law.
In the fall, we will be holding more events, and I look forward to seeing you in person.
In addition, Voice of San Diego is hosting a candidate forum on Saturday, October 8 at 2:30 pm at the University of San Diego as part of their Politifest event. More details to come.
