Folks — Already, we’re seeing the ramifications of the far-right Supreme Court majority’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and wipe out abortion rights for millions of Americans.

This horrific ruling has put millions of lives at risk, and has left many women with little to no options for reproductive health care in their home state — including here in Wisconsin.

We can’t sit back and watch as our rights get taken away by Trump-appointed justices. We must keep making noise and pushing back against this wave of hatred and extremism.

My legislation, the Women’s Health Protection Act, will cement abortion rights into federal law, but an obstacle stands in the way of its passing: the filibuster. President Biden as well as the majority of Senate Democrats want to carve out the filibuster in order to pass my life-saving legislation, but there are still some Senators standing in the way of getting it done.
