This is a promotion run by a company marketing something called a “JR-15,” a smaller and more lightweight version of the AR-15. Their website says it “looks, feels and operates just like Mom and Dad’s gun.”

They are literally marketing weapons of war to our kids.

This is what the right-wing is marketing and promoting at the behest of the gun industry of this country.

The good news, if there’s any, is this ends NOW in California.

I just signed a bill so the gun industry and those backing it can no longer market to our children.

The idea that we even have to do this is ridiculous.

The law went into effect immediately because people with commonsense know we cannot allow this kind of marketing to go on another day.
