[[link removed]]Dear John,

The General Election is our chance to vote for a better society – so it’s vital
we know where the parties stand on important issues. We’ve analysed each of the
major parties’ manifestos for you in line with our six key demands of whoever
steps into No 10.

[[link removed]]It’s important to remember a manifesto is just a snapshot of what a party wants
to do in Government. There might be many more things they want to do that just
didn’t make it onto the page.

Similarly, just because something is in the manifesto doesn’t mean the party
can’t be persuaded not to do it.

And there is still time to hold candidates to account.

You can use our quick and easy tool to email all your local candidates
[[link removed]] at once. You can use our template text or add your own to let them know how you
want them to take action on pressing human rights issues.

You could also go to a hustings and put questions to your candidates in person.
You can use Democracy Club’s Who Can I Vote For [[link removed]] website to find out what events are taking place near you.

And you can order your free copy of the Liberty Manifesto
[[link removed]] which includes a poster for your windows at home.

But if you do nothing else, make sure you get to the polling station on Thursday
12 December and vote.

We have the power to change things for the better. Let’s use it.

Best wishes,

Clare Collier
