It's been a busy election season!
After months of door-knocking, phone-banking and lots of hard work, we're incredibly proud to celebrate the five BYD-endorsed candidates who won their races in the June 28th Democratic primary: Assembly Member Mathylde Frontus, and Democratic District Leaders Akel Williams, Jacqui Painter, Shaquana Boykin and Mercedes Narcisse!
We're immensely grateful to all of our endorsed candidates this cycle, who pounded the pavement and built deep, lasting relationships with their communities.
To Jumaane Williams, Ana Maria Archila, Jelanie DeShong, Samy Nemir Olivares, Kellan Calder, Angela Kravtchenko, David Schwartz, Seamus Campbell, Cheryl Cook, Monae Priolenau and Naomi Hopkins—this is just the beginning, and we can't wait to continue working and organizing with you!
But primary season isn't over.
Congressional and state senate primary elections are on August 23rd, and there are exciting, competitive races taking place across Brooklyn.
We want you to be engaged and informed. That's why BYD and our partner clubs are hosting a f
orum for the NY-10 Congressional primary on Monday, June 11th at 5:30pm.

Join us in person or virtually to hear from the many candidates running for this newly-drawn district, which includes neighborhoods stretching from Brooklyn Heights to Sunset Park, along with lower Manhattan.
You'll have a chance to submit questions about the policy issues impacting Brooklynites and Americans across the country.
