New developments out of the January 6 committee hearings hit close to home here in New Mexico’s 2nd congressional district.

New evidence reveals that far-right Rep. Yvette Herrell was potentially in line for a presidential pardon in light of her efforts to overturn the 2020 election results.

One of Herrell’s MAGA friends, Alabama Congressman Mo Brooks, allegedly asked for all of the 147 Republicans (including Herrell) who voted against certifying the election results to receive a preemptive pardon to clear them of any wrongdoing or consequences.

No wonder Herrell voted against the creation of a commission to investigate Jan. 6 to begin with!

It’s no exaggeration: Yvette Herrell is dangerous to our democracy, and she’s too extreme for NM-02.
