You're Invited to the Sea Shepherd Show
Dear John,
The Sea Shepherd Show is a live webinar that brings our crews, captains and campaigns directly to you every month. The one word we would use to describe next week’s show? WHALES!
Join us for Episode 11 as we premier a brand new video about Operation Guadalupe, which is studying the beaked whales surrounding the Guadalupe Islands and charting the course forward for their protection.
We will dive even deeper on whales with Dr Hiram Rosales, our principal scientific partner on
Operation Revillagigedo<[link removed]>. Dr. Rosales is a Professor and Researcher in the Academic Department of Fisheries Engineering at the Autonomous University of Baja California Sur (UABCS), in La Paz, BCS. In 2018 he founded the Marine Megafauna and Fisheries Research Program (MMAPE) at the UABCS and is the Academic Manager of the Whale Museum Rescue Center/UABCS.
    Date: Wed, July 13
    Time: 8pm ET/5pm PT

RSVP HERE<[link removed]> for our show with Dr. Rosales!

2022 UN Ocean Conference Concludes
Sea Shepherd welcomed the United Nations’ increased focus on Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated Fishing (IUU) at the 2022 UN Ocean Conference in Lisbon last week. IUU is theft. It devastates the environment, undermines legal fishing, and often involves human trafficking, drug smuggling, arms smuggling, and more. Operation Milagro is protecting endangered species like the vaquita from extinction. Our captains, crews and volunteers are often the last line of defense for threatened marine wildlife. This is why your support is so critical.
