This is Congressman Brian Mast’s wife Brianna here. Most of you probably know my husband’s story by now - how he survived losing two legs in battle and how he recovered from those injuries to continue serving his country…

But what you may not know is just how hard he works behind the scenes to make all of this happen. Brian selflessly works through his busy schedule, putting everything he has into his duties as both a Congressman and as a father all without saying a word of complaint.

With this Sunday being his birthday, I wanted to think of a unique gift idea that would also be a way to thank him for this tireless service. So for that, I’m turning to top supporters like you who help drive Brian’s fight for America.

It wasn’t long ago that I nearly lost Brian forever…

I remember the jarring sound of knocking on our door at seven o’clock in the morning, the sight of soldiers in uniform on our front porch, the fear that our newborn son would soon grow up without a father… and also the relief I felt when I learned that my husband survived.

I’m grateful each and every day that he is still here with us to continue looking after our family and to continue serving the country he loves.
