The ultra-conservative SCOTUS majority isn't done wreaking havoc on our democracy. The Court just announced they’re taking up Moore v. Harper, a case involving "independent state legislature" theory – a fringe, right-wing legal argument that could make state legislatures the sole authority over all manner of election laws.

Overturning Roe showed just how extreme the Court has become – its ultra-conservative majority is willing to overlook decades of precedent while answering to a partisan, right-wing agenda over the Constitution. We need to be prepared.

If state legislatures are given sole power over our elections, we need to be sure that leadership reflects our values, and supports free and fair elections.
