He's done it again, team: according to Tucker Carlson, the culprits for the Fourth of July mass shooting in Highland Park are women, weed and video games.
Of course the FACTS tell a different story.
The suspect used a Smith & Wesson M&P15 semi-automatic rifle to carry out his violent mayhem. He emptied two 30-round magazines before loading the weapon with a third to continue his rampage. He "seriously contemplated" carrying out a second attack. And, he posted violent imagery online.
Not only do these laughably outrageous lies deflect blame from the real issue (hint: it's the guns; last we checked, weed can't fire a bullet), but they also once again endanger Americans by failing to hold shooters accountable and putting blame for their violence on harmless, completely unrelated factors. We're sick and tired of Tucker's dangerous rhetoric, and he needs to be held accountable. Do you agree that it's time for Tucker Carlson to be removed from the air?
Gun violence in America is an immense problem that needs to be tackled head-on, and the only way to do so adequately is by regulating guns. Not women, not weed, not video games. GUNS. Every single country in the world that has banned high capacity guns like the AR-15 has seen zero or almost zero mass shootings ever since. So it's about the damn guns, Tucker.
We need to do everything we can to keep pro-gun extremists and MAGA Republicans like Tucker out of power in our country so they won't stand in the way of common-sense gun laws any longer. Will you chip in today to help us defeat the MAGA agenda and elect more Democrats like Eric who will pass laws that keep Americans safe from gun violence?
Thanks, team.
