Our Purple to Blue program is a heavily targeted, multi-layered campaign that focuses on mobilizing the grassroots and building a lasting infrastructure in the local community that doesn't just disappear post-election.

DFA has always been dedicated to a strong grassroots field program. There’s simply nothing more persuasive than having your friend, neighbor, or family member make a compelling case for your vote.

Along those lines, we are building on our past experience of running robust field programs – as we did when we successfully completed our multi-cycle effort in Virginia in 2019, resulting in Democratic control of both the Virginia House of Delegates and the Senate.

Through this bedrock of our 50 State Strategy, we will take so-called “purple” states and work to make them decisively Democratic.

Winning power in these states will be crucial to protecting access to all reproductive care for women and stopping women from being prosecuted for exercising their freedoms.
