Each instance of gun violence is horrific — and it’s especially gut-wrenching so close to home.

Watching families flee from an active shooter at a Fourth of July parade is too much to bear.

I am working to make sure the Highland Park community has the federal support it needs.

Yes, we recently took a step forward by passing bipartisan legislation to reform our gun laws. But we all want to do more. And there is plenty of work left in the fight to end gun violence.
